I would like to make it known to you and Cert team that I would like to apply for the position of Cert Chair/Commander or If there is someone more experienced running for this position, then Vice Chair..  

 

I have been with the CERT program since 2009 @ NBC Universal under Mike Ripley, and then in Upland Cert since 2014.  I have good leadership skills from my work in IT with IBM and NBC Television and many other organizations I have worked with and feel I can help bring in more members into the program and move it forward better/faster from a position of authority within the organization.  

 

I will be attending Train the Trainer course soon, and also working with Bob and the ACS Radio team to renew my HAM license and update other rescue skills I have had for a long time (Had HAM license for 30 years).  

 

I strive to include and empower everyone in cert and in the community at large, and encourage people to join wherever I go.....and love to help out where I can weather I am in a position of leadership or not.   I think just having that authority will help me open more doors to help CERT.
