To: The Upland CERT Nominating Committee:
I would like to apply for a Finance or Administrative position as it may become available due to term limits or future reorganization of functions.
My qualifications are as follows:
1. Degree in Business Administration, Major in Accounting. Previous employment includes, Kaiser Industries Inc., Oakland; Kaiser Steel Corp., Fontana; Wickes Companies Inc., Santa Monica.
2. Served as Board member and Treasurer of Santa Claus Inc for ten years. SCI is a 55 year old 501 3c Charity based in Ontario.
3. Served as Board member and cashier for six years and Financial Auditor of Rancho Cucamonga Friends of the Library.
4. Possess the time, interest and demonstrated capability to perform various administrative and finance responsibilities.
Although only a recent member of Upland CERT, I recognize its value to the community and wish to expand my contribution to its goals within my capabilities.
