I am expressing my intent to apply for the position of Member at Large with the Upland Community Emergency Response Team (CERT).
My qualifications are as follows:
Completion of CERT course and willingness to serve.
In addition to that, I have a background of community and church involvement as follows: Present ‐‐
Editorial Board, Inland Valley daily Bulletin for four or five years. Member, Parish Council, St.
Anthony Catholic Church
Facilitator/teacher Ministry Formation Institute, Diocese of San Bernardino (Catholic Church).
Recent past ‐‐
Founding president (now retired from the Board), Commercial Real Estate Women, Inland Empire
Chapter. Appointed by Upland Councilman Brendan Brandt to serve for three years on Community
Development Block Grant Committee for the City of Upland; chair two years ago. I'm no longer
serving because Brendan isn't on the Council any more.
